This lesson requires the review of the previous modules, and an essay.
This module will last 3 weeks.
Objective
To reflect on the experiences obtained from completed modules for this course, and the acquisition of self-awareness and renewed perspective.
Instructions
1. For the first week of this final module, review the photos of the completed projects of the other students in the class. Examine each one, seeking out any new perspectives of self-awareness. Make a list of thoughts that you experience as you study other students work, thinking about any influences their process has made on your process.
2. Once you have made your list of thoughts, write a 3-4 page essay describing what you see in other students projects, what you think about each project, whether they have provided any new insights into your own self-awareness, and connections you made to the projects. Include any emotions that you feel during this time as you continue the process of identifying self through critical thinking and awareness. Reflect on your own experiences while seeking connections to others experiences and how this process has transformed your own self-awareness. Properly cite all materials used using APA style.
3. Post your essay to your blog, and respond to at least two other students essays sharing any additional final thoughts on self-awareness, and how it affects the learning process.
Assessment
The assessment
for this lesson is based on the culminated understanding of self-awareness and its role in learning. In addition, construction and length of the essay, along with substantive discussion posts are an integral portion of the final grade.
