Imagining Identity

This lesson requires the creation of a collage using Photoshop.

This module will last 3 weeks.

Objective
To continue the identification of self-awareness through imagination and artistic expression.

Instructions
1.For this module, we will be revisiting collage. This time the student will make all choices for the use of digital media in the creation of the collage. Feel free to use photos, cartoons, animations, text, and to apply filters. The key to this project is to imagine where the student envisions themselves in the future. This can include family, employment, education, timelines, etc.. 

2. Once the collage is complete, save it as a JPEG and upload it to your blog. Discuss your choices for your collage, and how each element relates to you and what you imagine for your future. Include both positive and negative experiences encountered while creating this collage. Properly cite all material used using APA style.

3. During the final week of this module, reply to at least two other students projects, providing suggestions and constructive criticism. Include any new perspectives gained from reviewing other students' collages.

Assessment
The assessment for this lesson is based on active participation in the applied collage project, and the discussion of both individual and other students completed projects. The identification of self-awareness through imagination is key in this module to display gained understanding and perspective of self.
